This Privacy Policy explains how e-gujarat.com ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our Platform. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: your email address when you join the waitlist or register interest; business or tender details and contact information you submit; and your name, email and message when you contact us.
- Technical information: basic request data such as your IP address, approximate country and browser/user-agent, collected automatically (via our hosting provider, Cloudflare) to operate and secure the Platform and to deter spam.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Platform — publish approved listings/tenders, run the directory and serve content.
- To send you updates you opted into (e.g. launch notifications, waitlist news). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To review and moderate submissions, and to respond to your enquiries.
- To maintain security and prevent abuse.
3. Service providers
We share limited data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Platform:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and database.
- Resend — to deliver notification and update emails.
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers located outside India. We also link out to third-party news publishers and may use affiliate links; those third parties have their own privacy policies.
4. Cookies and tracking
The Platform does not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics or advertising in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your data (see "Your rights").
6. Your rights
